About me

Hi, I’m a registered acupuncturist based in Amsterdam. Coming from a family of TCM practitioners I’m combining our traditions and knowledge in a modern day practice with psychology for a better health.

I have a background in psychology and work experience in different industries. This gives me a fresh perspective to my treatments which integrate both Eastern and Western approaches, like Traditional Chinese Medicine, mindfulness and psychology. I provide personalized sessions that help with you with your physical and mental health.

Our Story

Our family has been practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine for generations. The knowledge was passed down from our great-grandparents and grandfather who specialized in herbs in Vietnam. Our father was also a physician and acupuncturist who combined Eastern techniques with Western medicine to meet the needs of his patients. At Acupuncture by Kim, I’m happy to carry on this legacy and share our knowledge and traditions.

The practice

My practice is located at Veembroederhof 187, Oostelijke Handelskade Amsterdam. The entrance can be found between Blauwhoed and Ebike store in an office and apartment building named ‘Cacao’. Take the elevator to the third floor and find the door with a plant on your right.

There is plenty of parking space at parking “de Loodsen”. It’s easily reachable by public transport as well with Tram 26 or Bus 43.

The Commitment

As a therapist I find clients sometimes run into barriers or challenges that limit them in engaging in self care. The limitations are sometimes rooted in identity, social status or privilege. It saddens me that self care sometimes is a burden and even scary for those of us who have marginalized identities.That’s why at Acupuncture by Kim I aim to provide a safe and inclusive space. A place where I take into account the many parts of your identity and where you can be yourself and where that is respected.I believe that everybody is unique and deserves personalized care.
